these are so light and the perfect amount of wide leg. Not too much and not too little. Very flattering! 

I wear a small in these ( I am 5”2 and a size 6) they fit true to size but don’t have tons of stretch in the hips even through the waist has stretch because it has elastic in the back. So I would still go with your true size but if your between sizes - then size up a size! If you have larger hips then size up!
